Creativity, Shame, and Safety
Creativity, Shame, and Safety
Saturday, November 9th
10 - 11:30 am PST
With Special Guest Melissa West
Shame is the single most powerful destroyer of creativity on the planet.
In this 90-minute, interactive online workshop, psychotherapist and artist Melissa West returns to help us reckon with the feelings of shame that surround creativity for many highly sensitive, complex, and intense people.
We’ll focus on how to create the inner and outer resources we need to recognize and recontextualize shame so we can feel safe enough to share from our authentically tender, weird, wild and wonderful divergent selves.
This workshop is a continuation of the Neurodiversity and Creativity conversation series that Melissa and I have been pursuing this year. All are welcome!
We are not focusing on parsing diagnoses, but rather are asking “what do highly intense, sensitive, and complex people need to creatively flourish?”
BONUS MATERIALS:
We want you to feel welcome whether or not you have participated in an earlier conversation in this series, so when you register, you'll receive:
