I’m Sara Saltee, founder of the Saltee Academy for Complex Creators, where wholly original women find support and tools for stepping into their full creative power.
Here, you’ll find coaching, courses, and resources to help you courageously create the work and life that express your unique gifts and distinctive ways of engaging the world.
We begin by broadening our definition of creativity far beyond “art making” or “self-care.” Around here, we define creativity as a way of being and doing that involves deep, authentic, reciprocal engagements with ourselves and the world.
I'm forever grateful for your workshop and for getting to know you. This was the biggest turning point in how I view myself and the unusual (creative) way that I have conducted my life.

About Sara Saltee
Sara Saltee is a complex creator who has been deeply immersed in the study and practice of creativity for more than 20 years. An artist, writer, teacher, adult learning specialist, curriculum designer, and certified creativity coach, Sara’s original tools and frameworks help creators of all kinds connect to their authentic impulses and make their highest contributions.
After teaching as Adjunct Faculty in Communication at Regis University and Front Range Community College, Sara served as a culture change and strategic planning consultant to nonprofits and public agencies in the Puget Sound Region. For the past decade, she has designed and facilitated dynamic online train-the-trainer programs for a global community of grassroots leaders as the Director of Leadership and Learning Programs for Riane Eisler’s Center for Partnership Systems.
Sara founded The Saltee Academy for Complex Creators in 2020 to serve highly sensitive, gifted, and neurodiverse women whose complexity, intensity, and drive bring a particular set of challenges to the adventure of pursuing their creative callings.
Sara has a gift for clarifying the nebulous, explaining the confusing, bringing unframed questions to the surface and offering clear approaches to answering those questions. Sara is addressing topics that are the MOST VALUE in life, and she articulates them with grace and humor.
